During the FP6, the training activities of the European Interferometry Initiative where funded by the ONTHEFRINGE (Marie Curie Conferences and Training Courses) project. Four schools where organized:

• Astrometry and Imaging with the Very Large Telescope Interferometer

• Active Galactic Nuclei at the highest angular resolution: theory and observations
  27 August - 7 September, 2007, Torun, Poland
• Circumstellar disks and planets at very high angular resolution
  28 May - 8 June, 2007, Porto, Portugal
• Observation and Data Reduction with the VLT Interferometer
  4-16 June, 2006, Goutelas, France
